The late Tommy Fossett was a juggler, musician, trapeze artist, unicyclist
and auguste clown. The auguste clown (auguste is the German word for stupid)
is the red-nosed, baggy-clothed clown that has become the long-serving, comical
partner of the serious white-faced clown.
