'Arco',

Arco, a Scottish strongman, often performed the 'ten man lift' trick which
involves ten men standing on a plank which is raised in the air by the bearer's
legs. The trick can be dangerous, as Arco discovered to his cost when the
plank overbalanced and the weight of the ten men caused both his legs to "snap
like carrots". Following this, he only performed a much less dangerous
strong man comedy act.
