Antoaneta Becheva, Circus Harlequin, 1996.
Antoaneta is from Bulgaria but has been with Circus Harlequin in Britain for the last three years. She currently performs as a Russian doll but is training to do a hair-hang act. She has to brush her hair about 150 times every night to keep it in good condition and must make sure to keep her weight down. Antoaneta can fast spin, plate spin and spin hula hoops while hair-hanging. She makes it appear so easy that she was once accused of having metal bolts fitted in her head.
