DESERT SNOW
"John Wayne's most favourite viewpoint in the whole world" Bill Crawley.
We found our location handler/scout through the Navahoe Film Commission. Bill Crawley a dyed in the wool deeply accented cowboy type and so called special friend of the Navahoe Indians that ran the land. It was their tribal reserve,
Bill would arrive on shoot each morning dressed in another copy of a shirt of JW from one of his films.
He predicted that the snow would not last long. Hardly surprising given the warmth of the terrain.
